'SaladGreenPlate' started with one dream: to share real Neapolitan pizza with London. Established by the Rossi clan in 1985, this small, family-owned pizzeria began with time-honored recipes passed down through the ages.
Marco Rossi, our founder, mastered pizza crafting on her voyages across Italy, apprenticing with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples—where pizza was born. After arriving back in the UK, her mission was to replicate the essence of classic Italian pizza, sticking to heritage techniques and the finest produce.
Once a cosy 12-seat eatery, it has now expanded into a treasured spot in our area, retaining its staunch commitment to superior taste and genuine preparation. We still implement traditional wood-fire oven baking, prepare our dough fresh each day, and prioritize top-tier ingredients.
Today, 'SaladGreenPlate' is still nurtured by the Rossi family, with its legacy carried forward by the second generation managing our enthusiastic crew. While technology has been integrated, our soul remains focused on delivering scrumptious, real pizza that unites enthusiasts.
